Hello,
As the summer progresses, I wanted to remind you of a few things.

* If you have not already done so, physical forms are do to the nurse ASAP.
* Preseason dates are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5:30-7pm at Woodman. It is not mandatory but if you are not on vacation I encourage you to attend.
* Fall Season (Cross Country) official practice is Monday, August 16 at 5:30pm at Woodman.
* The team is schedule for the Impact (concussion screening) on August 12 @ 11am in the MAC Lab (computer lab by the cafe in the main building). You MUST have a test in order to practice on Monday.
* I will post a roster on the blog of who has handed in their forms and their clearance status.
* Equipment- I strongly recommend a new pair of trainers (sneaker) for the Fall. If your trainers are old you will begin to have injuries.
* If you will be away for the Impact screen email me separately.
* Periodically check the blog for info.
* If you have any questions or concerns, email me.

While Cross Country season is typically for the distance team, if you are not participating in another fall sport and plan on running, jumping or throwing Indoor (winter) and/or Spring (outdoor) I strongly suggest you join the Cross Country team. It will give you the foundation necessary to be ready for the Indoor and Outdoor seasons. Non-distance runners workouts are different. Fall training allows the non-distance runners to get in shape.
