Meet Day Prep

Its important to go to the meets prepared. Don't forget to pack:
*Race shorts & top
*Extra Layer (tights, long sleeve t-shirt, sweats, etc)
*Spikes
*Food
PB&J, wheat thins, oranges, water, gatorade, etc
NO JUNK FOOD!!

Remember to wear the sweats & track shirt to school the day of the meet or the Friday. Before a weekend meet.

Have your race uniform on before you get on the bus.

The most important thing you must bring is your enthusiasm!

NJ Spiked Shoe Holiday Festival- Monday, December 20
NYC Armory, 168th St Armory
4:30pm
Bus 2pm from Midland Ave. You will be dismissed after 7th period. An email will be sent to teachers.

The events sheet is posted under meet info. Its a QL meet. Those not competing on Monday will have practice and compete Thursday. Meet on Midland Ave after school for practice.

Meet information for next Monday & Thursday will be posted after todays practice. In order to compete next week you must have 7 consecutive practices including yesterday & today's captains practice.

Remember, it is the athletes responsibility to communicate with the me.

Uniforms

Uniforms will be distributed at practice tomorrow. In order to receive your uniforms a check for $170 made out to Montclair High School Athletics must be submitted. The checks will be returned at the end of the season upon return of the uniform. You must have 7 consecutive practices, including Thursday & Fridays captains practice, to receive a uniform.

Girls on the Indoor Team are not permitted to "train" for another sport. This assists with injury prevention due to over use. If you are currently training for another sport and have questions, see Coach Cooper.
