Hello,
Hello,
I'm reaching out to see who would be available to work the concession for our home meets. This will be our first year opening the concessions for our dual meets during the week. In the past, concessions were available during our weekend meets but due to the impending budget cut, its necessary for us to raise money to ensure the track program will not have to reduce the amount of meets we participate in.
Currently, Bonnie Knox is our parent coordinator. She will be out of town next week so I will be the contact for our first meet on Monday. We will need at least 4 parents at each meet with 2 parents from the boys team and 2 from the girls. The meet starts at 4pm with the opposing team arriving by 3:30pm. While I never give a time the meets conclude, I can estimate 6:30pm. The items I am proposing to sell at the Monday meets are:
Water
Gatorade
Chewy Granola and/or power bars
Hotdogs (?)
Oranges (?)
I'd like to stay away from candy and junk foods as I've been trying to promote healthy eating.
The easiest way is for parents to donate items to sell. If needed I can pick up a few things at Costco on Sunday.
I have a cash box and start up change.
Please let me know who is available and what items you can donate.
Thank you for your support.
